Available by nowAfter a new fire test with a number of enhancements to our curtain Fire Protec® at the MPA in Stuttgart, we have achieved absolutely confident the classification E 90 according to EN 13501.
During the fire test according to EN 1634 / DIN 4102 in the huge oil heater (5m x 4m) temperatures have been achieved up to 1100 ° C. The furnace had it a consumption of 500 liters per hour. Our curtain was during the whole test completely unaware of the temperature stress.
Only after 118 min a marginal defect had occurred in a retaining tab.
The test was carried out over 120 min because there may be possible a higher classification of E 120. In addition, we were able to reach the classification of EW 20 to EN 13501.
Not only is the curtain of us, but also the textile fabric itself is undergoing continuous improvements. So as well two employees of our suppliers Klevers glass fabric were also there to gain experience about the endurance of the material.
Now construction projects can be planned and delivered by our Fire PROtec® curtain system to classification E 90.
