The slit actuator by SIMON PROtec is an actuator with special kinematics within the linear and spindle actuator family. Thanks to its unique movement mechanism, the SHEV actuator is perfectly suited for the electrical actuation of inward and outward opening sashes. Even with short stroke lengths, large opening widths can be achieved on AOV windows and doors. The slit actuator is the ideal actuator for use on large side-hung and bottom-hung sashes for standard openings up to 60° and more. Up to now, the slit actuator was only approved for strokes of 200, 300, 500 and 750 mm up to 500 N force. Now slit actuators with 750 N force are also available.
Larger application range for EA-L/S-750
In an application project, the performance data of the existing slit actuators could be extended from 500 N to 750 N force. This increases the application range for inward and outward opening sashes, especially in bottom-hung and top-hung installations. The EA-L/S-750 and EA-L/S-A-750 slit actuators have an integrated electronic load cut-off and can be combined with an additional electrical locking device. The mechanical external dimensions for the configuration and installation on the window remain the same for all variants.
