The compact smoke extraction flap SHEV®-Flap is a flat roof system for wind and weather independend smoke and daily ventilation for smoke shafts.
It contains a straight isolated GFK-curb with an integrated approved louvre window. On it there is a weather protection hood. The flap is ideal for smoke ventilation openings on top of elevator or other shafts to ful! ll also the energy saving ordinance.
SHEV®-Flap will be delivered as ready-to-use flat roof element and will be installed through the ordinary work of the roofers. With that element, the smoke extraction shaft will be closed on top and that closes the building surface (according energy saving ordinance). The required smoke ventilation and daily ventilation of the shaft is ensured by an electrical smoke ventilator (approved louvre window according EN 12101-2). The GFK-curb is isolated and thermally separated.
The slatted hood has a bird protection grid and can be upgraded through an insect protection grid. The SHEV®-Flap is available in three standard sizes (see table). Other sizes are available on request. Further information on the product page: SHEV®-FLAP
