Fire PROtec EI MARC – Textile Fire protection smoke-sealed Sa and smoke-proof S200 now

Textile fire protection is the modern alternative to conventional systems. In contrast to classic fire protection doors and fire protection windows, fire protection curtains are visually inconspicuous in a stylistic overall concept without restricting safety. Thanks to curtain systems, unreinforced building openings remain fully usable and are optimally protected at the same time.

Classification:

The Fire PROtec EI MARC fire protection curtain is a fully insulating barrier for over 120 minutes with a maximum size of 18 x 10 m (WxH). The system has been tested according to EN 1643-1 and CE certified according to EN 16034. The heart of the Fire PROtec EI MARC is its multi-layer silicone-coated fabric with additional insulating material. It has been tested for over 10,000 cycles (C2) and thus meets all the requirements for installation as a fire protection barrier in Germany. With the insulating effect, the system can also be used in escape and rescue routes and for fire compartment separation (vertical and horizontal, e.g. in elevator shafts) without any problems.

The head box and the side guides for wall or reveal mounting are kept very slim, thus saving space and can be integrated almost invisibly into the surrounding construction (e.g. drywall). The housing and rails can be powder-coated in any RAL color according to customer specifications. The curtain fabric is rolled up either via an internal 230 V AC tubular motor or, depending on the version, with an external 400 V AC three-phase motor. The curtain is held open by a magnetic brake with a locking system. When triggered by a manual control device, smoke detector or via the fire alarm system, the fire protection curtain closes into the closed position without current due to gravity (gravity-fail-safe).
