The M-SHEV as a digital modular control panel for SHEV and ventilation systems has been one of the technology leaders in the market for years. Divided into two parts, the power supply and the control section, it has a very wide range of functions, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of modern and flexible smoke extraction concepts. With regard to the energy supply according to EN 12101-10, the previous focus was on 24 A cascading, which we are now allowed to extend with a further switching power supply unit. We are replacing the previous 10 A unit with a newly developed compact 12 A switching power supply based on the latest technology - recognisable by the name M-SHEV-12 for the modular control panels. The switching power supply has a compact design with 10 A continuous and 12 A short-term operation. Together with the also new charging interface LI-048, the complete power supply EV-12 is tested according to EN 12101-10. The switching power supply unit SNT is used in the M-SHEV modular control panels as well as the M-SHEV-12-AP and M-SHEV-12-AP-eco. It enables the maximum utilization of an MR-120 module with up to 12 A total current in one actuator line.
The M-SHEV-AP steel housing has been redesigned in the course of the introduction of the new, compact switching power supply. The dimensions of the housing have changed slightly and are now 400 x 516 x 155 mm. The adapted external dimensions make room for a total of two free module entities (FME). The M-SHEV modular control panels with the 12 A power supply unit can be ordered from now on. Further information about the modular control panels can be found in the product database: Modular control panel M-SHEV-12-AP and Modular control panel M-SHEV-12-AP-ECO.
The AP-MOUNT installation bracket was developed for all M-SHEV-AP and SHEV-AP housings. The new M-SHEV-12-AP already have the additional mounting holes in the lid, in the SHEV-AP series they will be added to the series within the next weeks.
The installation brackets are pushed laterally onto the housing and serve to facilitate wall mounting, maintenance and commissioning. The lid no longer needs to be placed on the floor or elsewhere, which could possibly scratch it, but is suspended from the brackets. The AP-MOUNT installation brackets can be permanently installed in the control panel or the service technician can use them when he needs to remove the cover to access the control panel. You can find more details about the AP-MOUNT installation brackets on our website Installation bracket AP-MOUNT.
