SICO Software & Connections

SICO is the general term for a number of new features to new as well as familiar actuator systems. Due to the product name PA (plugged actuator) instead of EA, the actuators that are compatible with the SICO technology are instantly recognizable.

The synchronization software SICO LINK is based on BUS technology. Actuators that have been synchronized by this software communicate via BUS within their group and control the running performance. The necessary adjustments can be made easily at the actuator without extra supply voltage by using the SICO LINK Software. Developing this technology, it was very important for us to be able to program an actuator or two actuators with synchro function on the window without having to use the software. Having connected the COM1 and COM2 communication lines, the zero position, the direction of rotation (PA-KL²-DF and PA-KL²-T) as well as MASTER and SLAVE for synchro function can be set in no time at all.

The SICO PLUG is a compact connector developed by SIMON PROtec which perfectly supports the production of the connection cable and the start-up of the entire system. The SICO PLUG is delivered with numerous components and can be configured to the customer`s specifications. The plug can be used for different cable cross-sections and individual or dual connections for the respective actuator. The SICO PLUG provides room for cables with up to 6 wires and 0.75 mm² cross-section and allows therefore all kinds of connection possibilities.
