SIMON PROtec actuator technology is divided into different actuator types, including chain actuators, linear actuators, slit actuators, rack and pinion actuators, spindle actuators and the folding arm. Depending on the application or window / flap type, a corresponding actuator is more suitable. All actuators are designed to meet different requirements. For example, the folding arm (an innovation from SIMON PROtec Systems) is ideally suited for applications with changing loads. The symbols for the mounting types on the respective product provide information on the connection and opening options. The SICO LINK / SIMON LINK software analysis tool is available for some of our actuators. This tool enables adjustments, e.g. stroke and force, and analyses to be made on site.
