Compact, robust and reliable: The Smoke PROtec smoke barrier n has only a few components. Nevertheless, it is a modern system for the protection of buildings and sections, which is also suitable for securing escape and rescue routes in areas of personal protection.
The smoke barrier is made exclusively from high-quality glass fabric. For this, the fabric webs are sewn vertically with a tear-resistant stainless steel yarn. The non-flammable fabric is smoke-tight according to DIN EN 1634-3 and temperature-resistant for 120 minutes according to DIN EN 12101-1 at 600 °C.
Thanks to its intuitive structure and few components, the installation is logical and low-cost. The optional use of special side guide rails avoids residual openings and deflections of the smoke aprons.
We work with the Gravity-Fail-Save-Principle (Unwinding by gravity). As a result, the smoke protection curtain is reliably unrolled at all times. Commands of the trip unit are processed directly via the engine control module and forwarded to the curtain system.
Modern architecture must be reconciled with the requirements of building legislation. Our Smoke PROtec smoke barrier can be optimally integrated into the room concept - almost invisible to the human eye.
A wide range of colors allows flexible design of the smoke curtains according to personal requirements. For this we use a modern powder coating process in almost all RAL / DB and special colors.
The maximum system size is 30 m width x 6 m unrolling length. A width up to 6m corresponds to one roller assembly. System sizes > 6x6m consist of two or more roller assemblies. For one roller unit we recommend our compact control unit SHEV 3 RSV with 3A output current. For two roller assemblies, our compact control unit SHEV 6 RSV (6 A output current) is usually used. For system widths of the smoke curtain of more than 10 meters, module control centers with at least 12 A output current are used.
