The Folding Arm², indicated as premium smoke vent actuator will be extended with one more type. The Folding Arm² EA-KL²-K, also known as "Shorty", closed the gap between its antecessor EA-KL and the new series EA-KL² with 500, 800 and 1000 N. Because of the shorter housing the actuator has indeed a shorter stroke (530 instead of 710 mm), but isn?t second to its big brother for the force. Main focus of attention is for the current, which is for the 500 N roundabout 1.4 A. Though the EA-KL²-K ?Shorty? is ideal as replacement for the former EA-KL in case of less current reserve of the on-site control panel. The 800 N needs approx. 2.0 A.
