The Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 from SIMON PROtec is an automatic smoke-tight curtain in accordance with EN 16034. The textile smoke protection system features a smoke-tight design on all four sides, compact dimensions and flexible mounting options.
Whether installed in industrial buildings, underground car parks or entrance areas, the Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 can be integrated into different building designs with little space required. It provides a functional smoke protection closure that fits discreetly into the building architecture.
Tested smoke protection - smoke-tight on all four sides to Sa4
The Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 has an Sa4 classification (smoke-tight). This confirms that the smoke curtain meets the specified leakage requirements on all four sides at ambient temperature.
Together with the C0 classification, the system provides a solution for building applications that require a smoke-tight closure with this classification.
The Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 is therefore suitable for different applications where a curtain with smoke-tight properties on all four sides is required.
Flexible applications and space-saving design
Not every building opening provides sufficient space for large smoke protection systems. The Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 therefore features a compact design that requires little installation space. The curtain can be mounted either on the wall or within a reveal.

Easy installation with a practical design
The Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 also offers practical advantages during installation. The roller unit is supplied pre-assembled and can be inserted directly into the housing using the Snap-in mechanism.
This makes installation of the smoke-tight curtain easier and helps to reduce the time and cost required for mounting and commissioning.
SIMON PROtec offers different control options with the approved RZ-24 hold-open system. Depending on the requirements, the system can be equipped with or without an emergency power supply and with an EMERGENCY OPEN function.
System sizes with a amaximum perimeter of 19,000 mm
The Fire PROtec² Sa4 C0 has a maximum perimeter of 19,000 mm. This is calculated from twice the width plus twice the height of the system:
Perimeter = 2 × Width + 2 × Height
Different width and height combinations are possible within this limit. This gives the smoke-tight curtain flexibility when planning openings with different dimensions.
