The room thermostat controllers from Simon PROtec are two-position controllers that switch with their changeover contact at the set threshold. The returned continuous signal is evaluated by the SHE or ventilation control center and the connected actuators are controlled for controlled natural ventilation.
The thermostat is used for the internal temperature-dependent automatic release of SHE and ventilation systems. Equipped with a practical two-position controller, the temperature range can be set between 0 °C and 30 °C. The switching temperature difference is approximately 3 °K. On request, an electronic thermostat with remote sensor is available.
The HYG room hygrostat is based on the same principle as the thermostat in circuit technology for the control center. The evaluation at the threshold point takes place via a plastic woven tape with hygroscopic properties.
The humidistat was designed for the humidity-dependent automatic activation of SHE and ventilation systems. Using the two-point controller, you can set a humidity range of 35 % to 100 %.
Both systems provide a continuous signal. If the connected central unit only has one fan key input and if a manual control element is to be operated in parallel, a THM-100/200 module must be installed upstream of the control panel. The THM module converts the continuous signal of the hygro- or thermostat into a pulse signal. Thus, both tripping devices can access an input.
