The chain actuator EA-K-30 offers with 300 N push and pulling force different standard strokes from 600 mm to 1200 mm in anodized aluminum housing. The chain actuator with a stroke of 400 mm has 400 N push and pulling force. With its compact and visually appealing design, the EA-K-30 chain actuator is suitable for demanding objects in residential and commercial areas. The chain actuator can be used for automation of inward and outward opening windows, flaps and rotary wings, especially for small and light sashes. The installation is possible at main closing edges. The field of application is smoke and heat ventilation and natural ventilation.
As part of the SIMON SHEV, the EA-K-30 chain actuator with various profile systems is tested and certified as a NSHEV in accordance with EN 12101-2. The actuator is equipped with a soft start and a soft close as standard. The soft close ensures reduced speed in CLOSE direction, 75 mm before the end position, as well as reduced force for seal relief.
Quick parameterization via software analysis tool
Equipped with the latest microprocessor technology, the EA-K-30 can be parameterized quickly and on site via the SIMON LINK software interface. Settings such as stroke shortening and force adjustment are possible, as well as maintenance and evaluation of the running cycles. This prevents unjustified liability claims and guarantees fast maintenance and parameterization.
More power in DUO-operation and tandem
The EA-K-30 chain actuator can be used in the standard version as a solo actuator and in the DA version with plug connection at both ends in DUO-operation. Both versions are tandem-compatible. A maximum of 2 actuators can be operated in parallel in DUO operation (via connecting cable) with connected tandem. If an actuator stops due to an overload cut-off, the cut-off signal is transferred to the parallel connected actuator and the actuator will also be stopped after a pre-determined stopping time. The plug connection on both sides allows a connection on the motor side as well as on the chain bearing side. The flexible bracket system allows many different mounting options.
