PA-K(I)-20 chain actuator - compact and flexible
The PA-K(I)-20 chain actuator scores highly where small measurements, appealing appearance and efficiency are required. The actuator can be surface-mounted or integrated into the window profile without a housing. With an installation height of 24 mm in the surface mounted and 20 mm in the integrated version, it is the most compact chain actuator on the market and blends invisibly into the profile. In the surface-mounted version, the PA-K(I)-20 impresses with its visually appealing housing in a modern design. It is ideal for use in office, commercial and residential spaces.
Versatile mounting types and bracket technology for all applications
A wide range of brackets is available for the PA-K(I)-20. The actuator can be mounted to the main closing edge of all inward and outward opening bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung windows. Depending on requirements, it is either mounted rigid or flexible. Rigid mounting as a cost-optimised variant requires only a few bracket parts. In this variant, the actuator is mounted either on the rear (surface mounting) or on the top (integrated mounting).
The PA-K(I)-20 provides a force of 200 N in pull application for a stroke of up to 1000 mm and in push application for a stroke of up to 200 mm. This makes it particularly suitable for small and light windows. Its areas of application are smoke as well as heat extraction and natural ventilation.
Simple parameterisation thanks to proven SICO LINK software interface
All actuators in the PA series are equipped with the well-proven SICO technology. The actuator is connected via the SICO-PLUG. Via the SICO BUS programming interface, values such as opening stroke, force and allocation to synchronisation groups can be conveniently parameterised using SICO LINK software. Reading out integrated counters and status messages is just as easy. In addition to SICO BUS, the operator can also be controlled via Modbus or KNX.
True synchronisation and combination with lockings
Products in the PA series are available as solo and synchro-capable actuators. They can be connected to each other in synchronisation groups with up to four actuators as well as for remote control with SHEV control centres and the building management system. The proven SICO technology ensures real synchronisation by adjusting the running time in real time. Thanks to the potential-free contact, the actuatpr can be combined with up to two lockings in sequential operation. All chain actuators in the PA series are optionally available in the useful DA version, which enables connection on both sides.
