The fire curtain system Fire PROtec EI60plus MARC is a fully insulating fire barrier for more than 60 minutes. The Fire PROtec EI60 MARC is approved for EI60 (insulating protection target over 60 minutes) and CE certified according EN 16034 - after the installation the system receives the CE marking and the Declaration of Performance.
Beside the high protection class the fire curtain offers a big flexibility for the installation. Beside the known wall-mounting it can also be installed in the reveal. The head box sizes are in a range between 250 x 275 and 600 x 625 mm. The side guides for wall and reveal mounting have a dimension of 120 x 80 mm, from curtain dimensions (W x H) 6000 x 2000mm: 140 x 80 mm. The main part of the Fire PROtec EI MARC is the multiple layer silicone coated fabric with inuslating material. It has been tested for more than 10,000 cycles (C2) and fulfills all requirements for being a fire barrier. With this insulating feature the system and be used in any kind of escape route or for separting fire zones.
The wind up is done by a 230 V AC internal tubular motor or depending on size by a 400 V AC external motor. To keep the curtain on top the motor has an internal magnet with a connected certified control panel RZ-24-230 / RZ-24-400.

Automatic textile fire curtain, type Fire PROtec-EI MARC, European classification EI 60 EW 120 C2 and according to DIN EN 13501-2.
European approved, CE marked according to DIN EN 16034.
Consisting of a head-box made of galvanized sheet steel to project dimensions to accommodate the roller assembly.
Silicone-coated fabric with multilayer structure.
Lateral restraint by two-part side guide rails (120 x 80 mm) made of sheet steel for reveal and wall mounting.
Additional internal boarding with PROMATEC panels.
Keeping open by 230 V AC tubular motor with magnetic brake, alternatively by a 400 V AC 3-phase motor.
Unrolling is done by gravity - Gravity Fail Safe principle.
Visible surfaces can be painted or powder coated according to customer request.
Operation by means of an RZ-24-230 / RZ-24-400 hold-open system approved by the building authorities. Optionally, a manual control device HE-088 (with LED for alarm / OK and integrated buzzer) is used for remote operation.
