The modular ventilation unit M-VENT is an electrical control unit in modular design for ventilation operation. It is equipped with a BUS technology and allows the connection of electrically operated NC units in 24 V DC and, with additional switching relay, 230 V AC. The respective ventilation groups can be set up and controlled flexibly. For each ventilation group, modules are assigned that react to the inputs and outputs as well as to control commands. The power supply is a switched-mode power supply 230 V AC <> 24 V DC in various configuration levels: 5 A, 10 A, 20 A and 40 A. Depending on the housing size, two to 22 free module units can be additionally added.
Each module has a "flat" design for ease of installation for DIN rail mounting and the same size of 106 x 60 x 38 mm with blue housing. For power supply, each module is connected to the central 24 VDC power supply and connected sequentially in series with the internal BUS via network cable with RJ45 connector. The spring terminals are used to connect peripheral devices and NC units.
The control center consists of a basic unit of basic modules, which have an internal BUS communication. This allows individual parameterization at the factory and on the customer side. The associated software interface SIMON LINK can be obtained from the manufacturer. Each module has different LED displays for alarm, ok and fault. Using the Simon Link configuration software, the modules can be named individually and identified at the touch of a button via a visual display. The basic modules are the central interface ZI-100, the motor relay MR-120-V, the message interface MI-100 and the bus interface BI-100-MB.
